HAVANA. Cuba. – The Cuban President, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, congratulated this Thursday the Young Communist League of Cuba (UJC), on its 57th anniversary, and the Jose Marti Pioneer Organization (OPJM) on its 58th birthday.

To the children and to the Cuban youth of today, who celebrate the anniversary of their organizations this April 4, congratulations and forward. Cuba goes in you, Diaz-Canel wrote in his Twitter account.

The Cuban head of State added that OPJM and UJC form the children of the Revolution, and that nothing make them as proud as having come out of their ranks and have formed in their values.

Young Communists and pioneers celebrate the date with various activities, ranging from volunteer work to cultural and sporting actions.
