Havana, Cuba.-Bartenders from the famous El Floridita bar-restaurant will compete in late July in the International Festival Tales of the Cocktail 2016 in New Orleans, Louisiana,United States,it was officially reported today.

Spokesmen for that Havana bar-restaurant, famous for the presence of celebrities such as American novelist, Ernest Hemingway, said the competition will take place from July 19 to 24, and prove the experience of those professionals in the island.

Bartenders Alejandro Bolivar, Ariel Blanco, Nicolai Mesa and Manuel Carbajo, who will leave for the northern city on July 18, will attend the event.

Alejandro Bolivar said the island’s delegation is nominated for the Best World Team Bar. Given this condition, he will have the opportunity to attend that meeting for the first time.

This event brings together thousands of bartenders around the world.

He said he will be able to participate in lectures, workshops, seminars, presentations of products, drinks and beers, from different brands.

The contest takes place in different hotels.

The plan of visit also includes tours of factories and emblematic bars in New Orleans.
