colmenita-argentina1Buenos Aires, Argentina.-The Argentine group of the Cuban children”s theater company La Colmenita brought love, joy and magic to the children hospitalized in the capital of Juan Pedro Garrahan pediatric hospital, where they gave their art in a very unique setting.

The small artists that integrate this project commanded in this southern nation by the young Malú Tarrau, who since childhood is part of the company founded by Carlos Alberto Cremata, made the children smile and dance with La cucarachita Martina, a work that includes classics songs of the Cuban repertoire.

This was the gift of the Magic Kings Day of La Colmenita Argentina for those little ones that are in the hospital, who for a journey in their lives enriched their hearts with this medicine for the soul with the contribution of several parents next to the Foundation Pediatric Fupea.

Founded in this southern country six years ago, La Colmenita is UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and has two headquarters here, one in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of San Telmo and another in Banfield, in the southern part of Greater Buenos Aires. Composed of more than 50 children musicians.

Recently the Argentinean director Luciana Mazza realized the documentary Lights and goblins on the history of the grouping, that counts today with subsides in several sister nations like Venezuela, Mexico, El Salvador and Colombia. The audiovisual material will reach the screens of this country in June to come.
