Lopez Gavilan, playing the piano, led a three-musician band in which drummer Yissi Garcia shone, and promoted along with the guest artist the most popular cheers of the evening.

The program also included four pieces composed as a duet between Stripling and the Cuban pianist, including the premiere of the blues ‘New Orleans in Old Havana’.
