HAVANA, Cuba.- President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez attends the inauguration at Expocuba of the 36th International Fair of Havana, which brings together some 2500 entrepreneurs from over 60 countries.

Open until next Friday, the largest marketplace in the Caribbean has programmed several activities aimed at capturing the necessary foreign resources as an essential development tool.

After the inauguration, it will held this noon the Russia-Latin America Second Business Forum, which precedes a business forum in Cuba and will serve as a scenario to present a new portfolio of opportunities, as well as Mariel Special Zone of Development.

The fair begins two days before the United Nations discusses a draft resolution demanding the end of the United States blockade against Cuba, the main obstacle to the country’s development.
