HAVANA, Cuba.- The Secretary General of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), June Soomer, will officially visit Cuba to attend the Cuba-Caribbean Business Fair.

The event will be held on June 28 and 29 in Santiago de Cuba, and it will bring together Caribbean and Cuban entrepreneurs, with the aim of enhancing and diversifying trade relations, cooperation for the benefit of development, and greater integration of the economies of the area.

In an interview with the Cuban Ambassador at the ACS headquarters in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, Soomer highlighted the importance of participating in the event and the fact of visiting Santiago de Cuba.

Also, it was known that the Secretary General of ACS will complete a program of meetings with the principal leaders of the government in the Cuban province and will visit historical places of interest, among other activities to develop during her stay.
