SANTO DOMINGO, the Dominican Republic.- Carlos Jesus de la Nuez, Ambassador of Cuba in the Dominican Republic, highlighted in Santo Domingo that relations between Cuba and that country are at a good moment and with great prospects.
As part of the celebrations for the twentieth anniversary of the restoration of the diplomatic relations between the two nations, De La Nuez pointed to the growth of bonds in these two decades developed in several fields, mainly cultural and historical.
The diplomat explained all these links are multiplied and put as an example the sports and scientific collaboration, and a current negotiation of an agreement between both chancelleries to lower trade tariffs and thus benefit this bilateral activity.
De la Nuez also explained there is another collaborative consensus reviewed, approved and ready to be implemented which should be signed this year in Cuba or in the Dominican Republic.
