HAVANA, Cuba. – The Ministry of Finance and Prices exceptionally authorized the calculation of customs duties in Cuban pesos to collaborators, from the second importation they make within the year.

The resolution alludes collaborators enter the national territory on more than one occasion in the year for the country’s interest, and it states that the authorization will be for certain cases.

The Ministry of Finance and Prices argues that the measure will be applied to those collaborators who enter more than one occasion into the national territory for official matters, term of mission before the planned date, because of resize of the missions and delay of vacation.

The resolution specifies that the head of the body of the Central Administration of the State to which the collaborator belongs, must certify in advance the special cases to the General Customs of the Republic.
