MOSCOW, Russia.- The Russian government asserted this Friday that relations with the United States are at a dangerously low level, following Washington’s approval of a new sanctions package against the European nation.
During a press conference, Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Pesko, pointed out that it is worrying the lack of interaction and cooperation in vital matters to both countries, as a result of the position assumed by the White House.
Last Wednesday, President Donald Trump signed a bill backed by the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate to toughen up the measures against Russia, Iran, and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, despite considering it to be very flawed.
“Our relationship with Russia is at the lowest and most dangerous point of all time. You can thank the Congress for that”, Trump wrote on his Twitter account.
