HAVANA, Cuba.- Representatives from all continents have expressed their intention to participate from next November 1 to 3 in Havana, in the Anti-Imperialist Meeting of Solidarity for Democracy and against Neoliberalism.

For Cubans, the event is of great importance as it takes place at a time when economic, financial and commercial measures are being lashed out against the island.

Hands off Cuba and The peoples will continue the struggle, are messages of the event convened by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with Peoples, the Cuban Chapter of Social Movements and the Continental Day against Neoliberalism.

This meeting will take place in Havana, while social protests are taking place in the region against neoliberal measures imposed by the United States in countries such as Venezuela, Chile, Honduras, Argentina and Bolivia.
