HAVANA, Cuba.- The President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, announced he would participate this Wednesday in the balance meetings of the ministries of the Food Industry and Transportation, in which they discuss on the results and projections of these sectors.

In both meetings, we analyze issues that have a lot to do with the quality of life of the people, the Cuban President wrote. Since his arrival in office in April last year, he has prioritized government visits throughout the country.

Also on Twitter, Diaz-Canel highlighted his meeting this Tuesday with former Argentine President and Senator Cristina Fernandez, who pays a private visit to Cuba.

In this regard, the head of State said that in a fraternal meeting they discussed the most recent developments in the region, and shared the need to preserve Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace.
