Ricardo Cabrisas starts visit to Russia.

MOSCOW. Russia.- The Vice-President of the Cuban Council of Ministers, Ricardo Cabrisas, began a visit to Russia, during which he envisages meetings with members of the Executive of that country.

Cabrisas´s schedule includes two meetings with the Russian Transport Minister, Evgueni Ditrij, and of Agriculture, Dmitri Patrushev, as well as with Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov.

On January 24, Russia and Cuba reinforced their economic cooperation and strategic partnership, after the Cuban Vice-President met in Moscow with authorities of the Eurasian country.

Cabrisas fulfilled a tight schedule of work, during which he met with the Vice-President of the Russian Government, Dmitri Kozak, with whom he addressed strategic aspects of bilateral cooperation in various areas, including energy. Both sides work systematically on issues of strategic sectors for the socio-economic development of Cuba.
