HAVANA, Cuba.- “Principles are not negotiable in the Cuban revolution,” Rafael Gonzalez, vice-president of the Hermanos Saiz Association said, who was a worthy representative of the Cuban civil society in the second Forum titled Thinking Americas, prior to the Summit of Lima, Peru, next April.

“There the island will be defending the principles of our people, with the ideas of Maceo, Martí and Fidel as standard,” the leader of the organization that brings together young Cuban artists and writers adds.

Gonzalez ensures that Cuba will carry to the Summit of the Americas an indispensable message, and it is to be with Venezuela, President Nicolas Maduro and the noble Bolivarian people.

“Our traditions, roots, heritage and history will be present at the event in Peru,” Rafael Gonzalez says, a young man who thanks every day for being born and living on this island.
