With and without OAS, Cuba's new Constitution goes.

HAVANA, Cuba.- The President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, said this Wednesday that the new Constitution of the Republic will not be stopped by the Organization of American States (OAS), an entity known for decades of hostility against the island.

With OAS and without OAS the Constitution goes, supported by the majority of the Cuban people, Diaz-Canel wrote in his Twitter account, when it is just 11 days for the referendum.

The President’s reaction follows a conference held this Tuesday in Washington in which spokesmen of OAS and the Cuban counterrevolution criticized the Constitution and qualified it as illegitimate.

Also the Cuban Chancellery denounced last Tuesday in a statement the new show against Cuba by the Secretary General of that organization, Luis Almagro, and reiterated the island does not recognize any moral or legal authority of an instrument at the service of the American imperialism.
