HAVANA, Cuba. – The deputy of the General Customs of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Nuñez Martin, announced that three important regional meetings in this sector will be held from May 15 to 19 in Havana.
Nuñez pointed out that during these meetings they will analyze the coordinated management at the border between customs and entities to guarantee trade security and the movement of passengers.
Other issues the regional meetings will deal with are training and compliance with customs regulations, and the contribution of these instances to the protection of cultural heritage, will be addressed.
The deputy of the General Customs of the Republic of Cuba added the participants in those meetings will exchange on the challenges in the relationship between customs and entrepreneurship to promote a more effective cooperation. There will also be panels related to the protection of intellectual property and security in international trade
