Agostinho Neto´s widow pays tribute to Cuban internationalists.

HAVANA, Cuba.. Maria Eugenia Neto, widow of Angolan leader Antonio Agostinho Neto, today highlighted in Havana the contributions of Cubans to the liberation of the African country, who sacrificed their lives thousands of kilometers from their homeland.

During a tour through Christopher Columbus Necropolis, the President of the Agostinho Neto Foundation expressed Africans defeated the United States, South Africa, and the reactionaries that whipped the nascent sub-Saharan nation.

The widow of the first President of Angola after independence in 1975 paid homage to the fallen in different libertarian deeds, whose remains rest in Christopher Columbus Necropolis.

The Organization of Solidarity with the Peoples of Asia, Africa and Latin America, will deliver the Mehdi Ben Barka Order to Angolan leader Agostinho Neto, which Maria Eugenia Neto will receive.
