CARACAS, Venezuela.- The Bolivarian National Armed Forces rejected statementsregarding Venezuela, made by the head of U.S. Southern Command, Admiral Craig Stephen Faller.
The US Military High Command said the Venezuelan institution must decide whether to express allegiance to the constitutional President, Nicolas Maduro.
In this regard, the Venezuelan Ministry of Defense asserted the White House is advocating an act of terrorism, such as on April 30, where weapons of war were used in a public thoroughfare, creating chaos and anxiety in the civilian population.
U.S. military spokespersons ignore, like their politicians, the national reality, and sink into arrogance, cynicism and double standards, Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino said through Twitter.
