LAS VEGAS, USA. – Journalistic reports revealed this Monday that Stephen Paddock was the author of the shooting causing the deaths of 58 people and more than 500 injured this Sunday during a country music concert in the city of Las Vegas.

The 64-year-old assailant was a retired public accountant in good health, with no criminal record, but he gathered firearms at the hotel where he was staying, from where he opened fire against those attending the musical concert.

Media point out that the attacker lived in Mesquite, in the same state, but he traveled to Las Vegas to attend musical shows and play in casinos.

Authorities reported that Paddock committed suicide in his room at the Mandalay Bay Hotel, from where he shot over twenty-two thousand participants in an open-air concert.
