The economic blockade imposed on Venezuela is a response from the United States to the processes of self-determination initiated by the peoples, Italian scholar Luciano Vasapollo, from La Sapienza University said this Tuesday.
Vasapollo pointed out those people like Venezuela that decide to be independent and leave the capitalist scheme creating new relationships with other political actors, are attacked by the United States.
The also delegate La Sapienza University for Latin America remarked that these attacks against the South American nation are aimed at consolidating the hegemonic power of Washington.
In addition, Vasapollo emphasized that the strategies designed against the nations believing in polypolarity as a mechanism for integration, are a destabilizing factor for the peoples of the area and can unleash an economic and military conflict.
