MATANZAS, Cuba.- Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel evaluates this Tuesday with a government team the housing program in Matanzas, where he urged to review it in detail so that all the victims of meteorological phenomena receive their houses by the end of this year.
At the end of April more than 300 houses will be concluded in the different modalities and the local production of construction materials is violated in the case of elements for floor and carpentry.
As part of the government visit to Matanzas, Diaz-Canel called to confront the detours of materials, because on the one hand, there is the humanist vocation to help the most vulnerable people and on the other those that profit and the result is deficiency.
Government Visit to Matanzas Continues
The First Vice-President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Salvador Valdes Mesa, and Vice-President Ricardo Cabrisas check in Matanzas province priority programs in the country, as part of the government visit led by Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel.
The President of the island, accompanied by political authorities and government of the occidental territory, toured Noel Fernandez Business Unit, unique of its kind in Cuba to manufacture cylinders for liquefied gas.
Diaz-Canel toured Narvaez Promenade, which borders the San Juan River, and visited several cultural spaces, located along the emblematic and crowded way.
He also attended the inauguration of San Juan Hotel, belonging to the Isla Azul chain, and visited the City’s Curator Office, once the Palace of Justice.
