Cuba’s authorities keep the alarm about SARS-CoV-2 virus
Cuba’s authorities raised yesterday the alarm about SARS-CoV-2 virus despite the encouraging behavior of the Covid-19 pandemic recently.
As a result of health actions, Vietnam remains without reporting new infected with the new coronavirus for a fortnight, and remains free of deaths from that cause, according to the national commission responsible for containing the pandemic.
A brigade of Cuban health professionals arrived in Qatar to support the fight against Covid-19, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba publishes this Thursday on its web portal.
The Minister of Public Health, Dr. Jose Angel Portal, reported that at the close yesterday, 61 new patients were confirmed with Covid-19, for a cumulative 457 positive cases, and announced the unfortunate death of a Cuban woman.
The National Director of Epidemiology, of the Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported this Tuesday that 16 new cases were confirmed with Covid-19, for a total of 186 in Cuba.
Epidemiologist Zhong Nanshan, a member of the committee appointed by the Government of China to combat the Covid-19 outbreak, said the overall infection pandemic will be over by June.
