Created in 1999 by the International Olympic Committee, the Evaluation Commission of the 2024 Games will arrive this Wednesday in Los Angeles and in Paris next Sunday, in a mission more about appreciation than classification.

The commission is made of members of that body and technical experts, and they will produce a report that does not establish a classification of different cities.

The delegation is aimed at advising the session, the Executive Committee and the President of the International Olympic Committee, dealing with all the issues concerning the analysis of the projects of the candidate cities.

The Olympic Commission also analyzes the candidacy´s dossiers, review the places for the Olympic tests, and write a report highlighting opportunities and challenges of each candidate city.
