May 1st parade in Havana.

HAVANA, Cuba. – A block of fifty thousand students, young workers and military will close in the Jose Marti Revolution Square in Havana, the parade for May 1st, Diosvany Acosta Abrahantes said to the press.

The member of the National Bureau of the Young Communist League of Cuba (UJC) added that the first to march will be the athletes of high performance schools, some of them pre-selected to compose the Cuban delegation to the Central American and Caribbean Games, Barranquilla 2018.

In the youth block at the first of May parade, Acosta Abrahantes added, the Cuba’s High-School Students Federation (FEEM) will carry a giant poster of Jose Marti with the phrase “Fatherland is humanity”.

He pointed out that University Student Federation (FEU) will carry giant images of Fidel, Raul and Che, as an expression of safe continuity.
