Fidel Castro.

CIEGO DE AVILA, Cuba.- The Young Communist League of Cuba (UJC) in Ciego de Avila will use spaces in the communities of the territory to celebrate next August 13 the birthday 91 of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro.

“We hope this year the celebration leave the traditional frames, and activities will have the youngest as protagonists, as in the House of children without shelter and the Zoo,” Raul Reyes, member of the Provincial Bureau of the UJC said.

He added, “These days, a group of young people from Sancti Spiritus share experiences in the summer camp, with the knowledge of history and personalities as one of their focuses.”

Other actions that will take place this summer in Ciego de Ávila are the crusades for the neighborhoods and the courses taught by the members of Jose Marti Brigade of Art Instructors.
