Worthy Tribute to the Initiator of Emancipatory Exploit

SANTIAGO DE CUBA, Cuba.- The beginning of the War of Independence led by Carlos Manuel de Cespedes, on its 151st anniversary, was remembered this Thursday with a political act and military ceremony in the Santa Ifigenia Cemetery, at Santiago de Cuba.

Students of Camilo Cienfuegos Military School and cadets served as Honor Guard at the tomb of National Hero Jose Marti and the deposit of the floral offerings in his mausoleum.

For its part in Demajagua historical site, in Manzanillo, it was held a cultural and political act to evoke the beginning of the Cuban libertarian struggles in that place, 151 years ago.

Neighbors and representatives of various sectors attend the homage to the initiators of the Cuban Revolution, led by Cespedes, on which occasion new militants of the Party and the Young Communist League of Cuba receive their accreditative cards.
