CIEGO DE AVILA, Cuba. – The second Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, appreciates in Ciego de Ávila the recovery actions after the damages caused by the heavy rains of the last days.

In La Cuba Multi-Crop Company, Machado Ventura visited the areas damaged by the winds, and knew of the daily harvest of more than 50 tons of banana sent to several Cuban provinces.

Accompanied by Felix Duarte, first Secretary of the Party in Ciego de Avila province, Machado Ventura insisted on redoubling efforts to recover and take advantage of each campaign in the staggered planting of food to improve its distribution.

Rainfall affected around 100 homes in the territory, with floods that reached several regions, in the rainiest month of recent years.
