National act in Demajagua, for the 150 years of the beginning of the Cuban libertarian struggles.

GRANMA, Cuba.- The First Secretary of the Central Party Committee, Army General Raul Castro Ruz, congratulated the people of Granma for their manifestation of discipline, color, organization and patriotism during the national act in Demajagua, for the 150 years of the beginning of the Cuban libertarian struggles.

Federico Hernandez, First Secretary of the Party in that territory, made public the recognition, and said that Raul expressed that Granma woke up and has potential to move forward.

Hernandez asserted that the province is in a position to multiply results, to do more, and congratulated all those who worked on the transformation of Demajagua historic site, secured services and organized the event.

The political leader said that Raul’s greeting causes more commitment and contributions from the people of Granma.
