HostelCuba-rusoHavana, Cuba.- The HostelCuba Fair is concluding today with the certainty of the growing interest in the entertainment industry in Cuba, considered by some as an almost virgin territory for foreign investment with many possibilities.

Business meetings, workshops, tastings, and the so-called showcooking, a proposal in which national and international chefs will prepare dishes live will continue during this final day of HostelCuba International Hotel Business and Catering Fair.

This professional platform presented yesterday an Investment Forum led by the Cuban Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR) to present the Business Opportunities in the Caribbean island.

The aim is to promote foreign investment in a prioritized sector of the Cuban economy.

One of MINTUR’s interests is to diversify the Cuban proposal, and transform sun and beach tourism into a more complete invitation that also includes nature, city and heritage.

Among the attractions of the Caribbean island are the charisma and hospitality of the people, high culture and the security it offers to visitors.

It also has 10 places declared World Heritage sites, 14 National Parks and others Historical and heritage values.

The presentations of the so-called showcooking, consisting of the preparation of food in real time by national and international chefs, an experience that was carried out for the first time in the island, will continue today, in addition to the roundtable discussions, business exchanges and other activities.

The HostelCuba Fair was held for the first time in May 2016 with the opening of Cuba to investors and foreign companies to supply equipment and services for the hospitality industry and the tourist sector.

The number of participants tripled during this second edition.

HostelCuba included new proposals until its culmination today at Pabexpo fairground after three days of intense work.
