HAVANA, Cuba.- Experts from Cuba and other countries discussed this Thursday in Havana about ten papers and lectures on the impact of climate change on bee honey production, , in an international beekeeping forum.

The chairperson of the organizing committee, Adolfo Perez, said that this meeting gives continuity to the analysis made in the Congress held last year, but above all, it seeks the exchange between the participants, the discussion of the results and the work developed.

Perez, who is also the director general of the Center for Beekeeping Research, affirmed the encounter pursues a greater cooperation and advice on the aspects that we do not know yet.

In addition to the effect of climate change on beekeeping, this Thursday they analyzed the productive results in five municipalities in the southern area of Ciego de Ávila province.
