HAVANA, Cuba. – Army General Raul Castro Ruz, President of the Councils of State and Ministers, sent a floral offering to the plaque dedicated to Jose Antonio Echeverria, located next to the University of Havana.

In the ceremony held in that place, Vicente Garcia, president of the University Student Federation in the academic institution, expressed the commitment to continue the legacy of those young people who assaulted the former Presidential Palace and the storming of Radio Reloj.

As a gesture of unity from the Revolutionary National Police and the FEU, Captain Yinet Infante pointed out that today both institutions unit to defend the country and the thought of Jose Antonio and Fidel.

The member of March 13 Revolutionary Directory Manuel Gomez Sartorio said that Cuban youth continues to be faithful to Jose Antonio´s ideas and those of his fighting companions.
