HAVANA, Cuba.- With the presence of the President of the Councils of States and Ministers, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, the First National Conference of the Union of Computer Specialists of Cuba was closed at the Convention Palace of Havana.

This morning, the delegates to the meeting were updated on the projections of development of infrastructure and telecommunications services, as part of the processes of computerization of the society.

The executive president of Company of Telecommunications of Cuba (ETECSA in Spanish), Mayra Arevich, explained that for the opening of the Internet service on mobiles 710 new 3G sites have been installed, covering 65 percent of the population.

In the final day of the meeting, Arevich highlighted that at the end of August, Nauta Hogar service has presence in 150 municipalities.
