HAVANA, Cuba. – Cuban collaborators in Venezuela continue their work with the people and serve normally, despite the violent actions of the opposition, Rogelio Polanco Fuentes, Ambassador of Cuba in that country, said.

In exclusive statements to the Cuban News Agency, the diplomat pointed out there is permanent communication with each of the Cuban collaborators, who provide services in all Venezuelan states in the fields of health, sport, culture and others.

They are well together with the people and working in a normal way, fulfilling each of the tasks and responsibilities, the ambassador said.

He assured that the attitude of Cuban collaborators in the land of Simon Bolivar is in correspondence with the tradition of the revolution and the internationalist aid of the island, which has remained firm and supportive.

Cuba Supports the Bolivarian People

On the destabilizing actions of the opposition, with greater intensity in recent weeks, the Cuban diplomat Rogelio Polanco highlighted the future of Latin America and the Caribbean is decided today in Venezuela, as well as the consolidation of a revolutionary process looking for moving forward in the struggle for welfare.

The diplomat noted the Bolivarian Revolution suffers an unconventional war of extraordinary dimensions, with the aim of overthrowing it and erasing social transformations.

Polanco reaffirmed Cuba’s solidarity with the Chavista people, during the extraordinary session of National Assembly of People’s Power, which takes place at the Convention Palace of Havana.

Cuba has showed its full support for the Bolivarian Revolution and at this time is and will be next to that people and the civic-military union headed by Nicolas Maduro, the Cuban Ambassador said.
