HAVANA, Cuba.- The Havana Cigars World Challenge Contest is one of the novelties of this twentieth edition of the Havana Cigar Festival, which takes place at the Convention Palace of Havana until next March 2.

In the elimination stage of the competition that started this Monday there were teams from six countries that test their skills and knowledge about pairings, cuts, lighting and a blind tasting.

The jury, made up of experts from the world of Havana cigars, selected for the final stage the duo of Cyprus and that of Cuba, integrated by Mayli Mostaza and Daylin Lopez, who will meet again this Friday.

The Havana Cigars World Challenge Contest arrives for the first time at the Havana Cigar Festival and, in the words of the attendants, they promise to become one of the greatest attractions of the event, as it mixes knowledge with the passion for the culture of Cuban cigars.
