Havana, Cuba.- The National Director of Epidemiology of Cuba’s Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported on Tuesday 447 active Covid-19 patients, 443 of whom have a stable clinical evolution.

This is somewhat satisfactory from a clinical point of view for the country, noted Duran.

The expert updated that 1,148 people are under watch in clinical-epidemiological surveillance of the Covid-19, and 667 of them are suspected cases.

Dr. Duran said 21 persons tested positive to the disease, and now the total cases rises to 1,804 afflicted since the onset of the outbread in the island two months ago.

Of those reported today, all are Cuban, nine are women and 12 are men.

Duran regretted the death of a person, and notified two severe and two critical cases; meanwhile there were 48 new recoveries, amounting in all 1,277.
