HAVANA, Cuba.- At the inauguration of the International Congress of Legal Medicine “Cuba Forensic 2018”, in the Convention Palace of Havana, the Cuban Society of Legal Medicine is part of the Ibero-American Network of Forensic Sciences from today.

The President of the network, Portuguese Duarte Nuno Vieira highlighted that Cuba is a reference for the international community in all areas of medicine, because here we recognize quality and competent professionals, he said.

Sergio Antonio Rabell, director of the Institute of Legal Medicine, gave details on the program of the International Congress of Legal Medicine “Cuba Forensic 2018”, which was not held since 2006 and where some 11 countries participate.

In the event, prestigious experts received the status of honorary members and correspondent of the Cuban Society of Legal Medicine.
