BEIJING, China. – The President of the National Assembly of People´s Power, Esteban Lazo, and the head of the international Department of the Communist Party of China, Song Tao, agreed in Beijing on the high levels of mutual trust between the two countries.

Both sides highlighted the endearing friendship and strong ties of cooperation uniting the two Parliaments, Parties and Governments, agreeing that this is the result of a strong political will, reaching high levels of mutual trust.

The Chinese leader also talked to Lazo on the importance China confers to its relations with Havana.

Song Tao remarked the commitment and disposition of the Chinese Government, Party and people to collaborate with Cuba to achieve the consensus reached between President Xi Jinping and Raul Castro in 2014.
