HAVANA, Cuba. – The Cuban Ministry of Education acquired 27 technological classrooms for pedagogical schools, as part of the teaching staff training program.

The director of Educational Technology in that Ministry, Fernando Ortega Cabrera, explained that the classrooms are composed of an interactive digital whiteboard, a cargo cart of 20 tablets of 10 inches, and a laptop destined to teacher´s work.

Those spaces form a technological ecosystem, integrated and operated by ATcnea software, created by the University of Information Science; one of its main features is user´s authentication.

It also has the possibility to create groups within the class, group activities, several types of questions and exams. It is possible also to choose the evaluation scales, share audio and video, chat and send files.
