Computerization of society is a reality.

HAVANA, Cuba.- The President of the Councils of States and Ministers of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez defended that the computerization of the society mainstreams all the ideological processes of the country, when intervening in the Commission of Attention to Services of the National Assembly.

Diaz-Canel assured the members that there are two areas of this policy: electronic government and trade, which have in common infrastructure and cybersecurity.

The Cuban President said that the first stage of electronic government is practically overdue with the digitalization of all processes involving society in the country.

Diaz-Canel insisted that the role of cadres is a priority in the advance of this task. The bosses, he said, must work with a specialized team and guide the computerization of the components of their entities.

Necessary Interaction with People

Today all Cuban ministers have an active profile on Twitter, where they generate contents of their management and promote the necessary interaction with the people, Miguel Diaz-Canel said before the parliamentarians of the Commission of Attention to Services.

The Cuban President explained how through social networks it was possible to dismantle the subversive campaign around the withdrawal of the More Doctors Program in Brazil.

When mentioning the importance of technological sovereignty for the development of the country, Diaz-Canel said that currently there is a site of Cuban applications, and a tablet factory with Nova technology.

The Cuban President referred to the necessary and constant updating and configuration of the websites of institutions for the good positioning in Internet search and that provoke the interaction with the people.
