HAVANA, Cuba.- The second Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Jose Ramon Machado Ventura presented the flag in Jose Marti Memorial to the Cuban delegation representing Cuba at the 19th Worldwide Festival of Youth and Students, in the Russian city of Sochi.

The Cuban Vice-President gave the Cuban flag to the head of the delegation Susely Morfa, First Secretary of the Young Communist League of Cuba.

The youth leader remarked that Che and Fidel are the main inspiration for the Cuban delegation, and it is a matter of commitment that the Festival is dedicated to those two great men.

Morfa said the Cuban youth will arrive in Sochi with the firm purpose of exposing and defending the Cuban Socialist project, as an alternative in the construction of a new society.
