CAMAGUEY, Cuba. – Commander of the Revolution Ramiro Valdes Menendez urged in Camaguey.to create productive capacities with the availability of raw materials in the territories.

When analyzing the province’s housing plan, Valdes Menendez called for a better organization of local productions, where the territory has a high potential and recommended Physical Planning´s counseling to execute actions with order and discipline.

The also Cuban Vice-President reiterated before the presidents of the municipal governments and leaders of bodies, the urgency of involving the people in the building of their own houses.

Camaguey is considered the province with the worst housing fund in Cuba, with almost 170 thousand houses in regular or bad conditions, Carlos Mendez, director of National Balance of Housing Resources in the Ministry of Construction, said.
