CARACAS, Venezuela.- More than 60 percent of Venezuelans support the calls made by President Nicolas Maduro, to foster a dialogue between Government and opposition.

According to the Sectorial Vice President of Planning, Ricardo Menendez, a survey was conducted to determine the national public opinion, given the situation generated by the threats to peace by the United States.

The official emphasized that the survey covered sectors of the population in favor of the Bolivarian Revolution and opposition citizens in urbanizations, neighborhoods and popular sectors.

Menendez also indicated that most of respondents disagree with the foreign interference led by the opposition, and that think Venezuelans themselves have to decide their development and future. They also support the rupture of diplomatic and political relations with Donald Trump’s Government for its position.
