Machado Ventura tours agricultural centers of Villa Cl

VILLA CLARA, Cuba.- The Second Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba, Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, noted the development of food production at agricultural centers in Villa Clara province.

Machado Ventura began his tour in Hoyo Colorado Farm, in Sagua La Grande, where he took interest in banana cultivation, as an indispensable element in the food of the people and a direct way to replace imports.

In Quemado de Guines municipality, Machado Ventura praised the incorporation into the agricultural tasks of two young workers: agricultural engineer Yunisleidys Sanchez and technician Ailen O’Farrill, the highest drivers of the advances in harvests in the Lutgardita productive complex.

Subsequently, the Second Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba visited the Yabu Agricultural Company in Santa Clara, where he called for increasing export capacities and being sustainable in agricultural crops.
