Beijing, China.- President Xi Jinping will open in Shanghai the China International Imports Exhibition (CIIE) scheduled for November 5-10, platform that looks to open the national market, informed here an official source.

Deputy Minister of Trade, Fu Ziying, said in a press rounsd the president will speak at the opening ceremony and then will tour the pavilions of the participating countries accompanied by foreign leaders and other Chinese officials.

Xi invited 18 heads of state and government, among which, presidents Miguel Diaz-Canel (Cuba), Salvador Sanchez Ceren (El Salvador), Milos Zeman (Czech Republic), Danilo Medina (Dominican Republic), Uhuru Kenyatta (Kenya), Dalia Grybauskaite (Lithuania), Juan Carlos Varela (Panama) and Alain Berset (Switzerland).

Next Sunday evening, November 4 he will treat visitors to a welcoming banquet.

Also, Fu explained the exhibition will be divided in two sections: one with pavilions of 82 countries and three international organizations, and the second dedicated to companies.

Indonesia, Vietnam, Pakistan, South Africa, Egypt, Russia, United Kingdom, Hungary, Germany, Canada, Brazil and Mexico are guests of honor at the CIIE.

In the part of enterprises, over three thousand firms of 130 states will show their commercial strengths and leading offers in order to expand the access to the world second power’s market.

Apart from the exhibition, will session a forum focused on the need to win-win which will gather about two thousand high officials of governments, international organizations, businesspeople and academicians.

That activity will develop in three parallel sections and also approach issues related to innovation, investments, economic globalization and free trade.

Meanwhile, Shanghai (East) puts the last touches to the fair grounsds and deployment of modern technology in the business district of Honggiao to receive successfully the CIIE.

China launched this initiative with the idea of more opening, boost economic globalization and development of the Belt and Route project, inspire don ancient trade routes, to link it with other continents in a great infrastructure and cooperation netwwork.

The fair generates big expectations because it will be the occasion to reveal to this market the leading products and services of each participant, and agree on possible deals.

According to organizers, over 40 companies of the United States, France, Germany and Japan already advanced booking for a second edition of the event.
