Venezuela.

CARACAS, Venezuela. – The President of the National Constituent Assembly of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello, asked the commissions of that body to present their proposals next Thursday to meet the needs of the people.

This Tuesday the deputies of the Assembly elected Cabello as its president, after the temporary permission granted to Delcy Rodriguez to occupy the Vice Presidency of the Republic for appointment by President Nicolas Maduro.

Cabello also called on the opposition sectors to present their proposals on the country’s problems in order to reach solutions to consolidate peace and stability.

As the Bolivarian Government drives a process of national reconciliation, Colombia’s President-elect, Ivan Duque, did not recognize its legitimacy in another unjustified act of aggression and interference, and reported he would not appoint an ambassador to Venezuela.
