CARACAS, Venezuela.- The United Socialist Party of Venezuela demanded the cessation of the blockade maintained by the U.S. Government against Cuba for 56 years.

In a communiqué, the political organization ratified that Venezuela will vote within the United Nations Organization against the criminal policy, which tries to isolate Cuba from all kinds of commercial exchange with the outside.

Likewise, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela reaffirmed its solidarity and support for the Cuban Government and people, who are victims of an economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the American imperialism.

The party emphasized being sure that the vast majority of countries that are part of the world’s maximum political forum will vote against the anachronistic and inhumane American politics, as it has been for 26 years.
