Presidential candidate Cory Booker disapproves Cuba travel restrictions.

WASHINGTON, USA. – The recently introduced bill in the U.S. Upper House to remove travel restrictions on citizens of the northern nation to Cuba has a new co-sponsor, Democratic senator and presidential candidate Cory Booker.

The initiative, launched last Monday by a bipartisan group of many members of the Senate, would put an end to travel bans to the island.

According to experts, it would also remove the obstacles preventing transactions related to visits to Cuba, including banking.

Democratic Senator Patrick Leahy presented the project and said this proposal is intended for Americans to travel to Cuba.
