CARACAS, Venezuela.- The international observers who participated in the presidential elections and legislative councils in Venezuela recognized the results published by the National Electoral Council.

Some 200 representatives of agencies, experts, politicians, intellectuals and personalities from different countries verified the transparency of the elections of May 20, in which the candidate of the Broad Front of the Homeland, Nicolas Maduro, was re-elected.

The document signed by the companions of the process repudiated the interventionist actions of the so-called Lima Group, aimed at destabilizing the Venezuelan constitutional government.

This Thursday, President Maduro reported on the capture of the ringleader of a conspiratorial group planning a coup d’état, and held the United States and Colombia responsible for the financing of that hostile plan.
