BUENOS AIRES, Argentina.- The Argentine Movement of Solidarity with Cuba, MasCuba, demanded in Buenos Aires the end of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed six decades ago by the United States on the island, which has been raging in recent months.

In a political-cultural event that also claimed popular struggles in Chile and Bolivia, representatives of that group repudiated the siege against the Cuban people, intensified by Donald Trump Administration in another attempt to suffocate the Caribbean nation.

Gathered at the Friendship with Cuba House in Buenos Aires, members of MASCUBA pointed out the impacts the island has suffered in these years.

During the meeting, it was opened an exhibition with posters of the No More Blockade contest, organized by the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples in which Argentine Ana Laura Peirone conquered the third place.
