CARACAS, Venezuela.- The Venezuelan Supreme Court of Justice rejected the attack on the Venezuelan people in the National Assembly, and said the perpetrators of the event will be punished.

Through a statement, the President of the judiciary, Maikel Moreno, rejected those facts and urged the nation’s political leaders to face the country and to turn away from violence as a political weapon.

Similarly, the judiciary reiterated the indisputable need for dialogue and the construction of regular channels of rapprochement to stop violence, which has caused ninety-one deaths in the last three months amid protests.

For his part, Venezuelan deputy Diosdado Cabello said the sector opposed to the government of constitutional President Nicolas Maduro is responsible for the events that occurred in the Assembly, as they had unleashed the wave of aggression.
