Cuban drug Heberprot.

BRATISLAVA, Slovakia. – The Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, received this Friday a delegation from the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology of Cuba, which includes the deputy director of that institution, Ernesto Lopez, and prestigious researcher Dr. Jorge Berlanga.

During the meeting, the head of government described as positive the implementation of the Cuban leading drug Heberprot-PE in three hospitals in the country, and referred to the number of Slovak patients cured with its application.

Fico ratified his willingness to continue supporting the collaboration between Cuba and Slovakia in different areas, particularly in biotechnology, and underlined its deep admiration for the Cuban revolution.

The visiting delegation also met with the ministers of Health, Tomas Drucker, and Finance, Peter Kazimir, and also participated the Cuban Ambassador in Slovakia, Jamie Pita.
